Electric Discharge Machining PTF offers high-performance wire electric discharge machining (EDM) to meet requirements of sophisticated high-speed adaptions in relation to surface integrity. Requirements of complex and large parts for manufacturing of matrices, aerospace as well as assemblies of medical parts or other parts are satisfied with "AgieCharmilles Progess V2" machines. With precision wire erosion the technological offering of PTF was extensively broadened. PTF deliveries micro precision with wire diameters of 0.05 mm to 0.33 mm. The best achievable roughness is at 0.2µ. With axis-travel of x = 350 mm, y = 250 mm and z = 256 mm a wide spectrum of parts can be covered, thereby parts can have a size up to x = 750 mm, y = 550 mm and z = 250 mm. |
